About This Web Site

The purpose of this web site is to shed light on the intimate, complex and deeply punitive stance that western civilization (“the west”) has long maintained toward Judaism and the Jewish people. Gaining perspective on this relationship requires attention to history in its broadest sense, cultural history including religion, philosophy, and the arts as well as military and political history. The relationship of western civilization to Judaism, Jews and to Israel has been intensely ideological from the time of the Seleucid kingdoms and Rome and Europe inherited and amplified this ambivalent and largely punitive response to the people, ethos and culture from which they took most of their defining ideas.

In brief: the West built itself as a de-contextualized Judaism and a “new” Israel. This game is unstable, unsustainable and it’s about over. The powers intend the end of the end game to extinguish Israel as a Jewish state. The game is fraught with peril, so we will see.

The betrayal by Britain’s ruling classes of the League of Nations mandate for re-creating the Jewish National Home, the shoah with which it is in many ways interlinked, the hostility of the world community to Israel and the Jews both before and after its 1948 war of independence culminating in the “peace process” all stem directly from and are consistent with the deeply engrained hatred of the West for its own roots. So inquiry into and analysis of the West’s animus against Israel is an opportunity to examine the ways in which and the reasons why the West has been destroying itself culturally for a long time, flagrantly so in recent decades in its role as enabler and apologist for global jihad.

There is an element of divine justice at work here: The powers that re-ignited and assist global jihad in the hopes that it would, first, preempt the Jewish state and, when that did not happen, whittle it down and destroy it seem not to care that the demon they have sprung intends to destroy them too. In many respects, Islam may be seen as the wrath of G-d on the world and on the West for what they have done to the Jews and to Israel. This is and will continue to be the story of our days.

As difficult as is the situation for Israel and the Jewish people, the prognosis for them is better than that for the West. Mene, mene: tekhel ufarsin…
