Labor Zionism is destroying the Jewish people by destroying the state of Israel. The process nears its terminus: the iron gates are in view. If all the aspects of this perennial regime are not expelled, the remnants of Jewish sovereignty will be buried in a “New Middle East” patrolled by blue helmets and thickly punctuated by jihadist assaults. Jews in a semi-autonomous IDF, ruled by NME commanders will continue to bleed for the destruction of the Jewish promise, land, and dream of redemption (cf. psalm 126).

The Israeli wedge for the NME is the Olmert-Peres-Peretz regime and its enforcing affiliate in the self-perpetuating Hellenist Supreme Court. A politicized General Staff, neutered of its Judaism, weaned from victory and conscripted into expelling Jews from their home (a key facet of NME – Global Security State business) is the third leg of this suicidal troika.

Labor Zionism is destroying the Jewish people. This has been going on since they seized the Hagana from Jabotinsky and imposed upon it the suicidal doctrine of havlaga (Jewish “self-restraint” after Arab attacks on Jews). Even a short summary of Labor’s perfidy is beyond the scope of this essay. Merely note that they cooperated with the British in imposing a quota system on Jewish immigration from the late 1920s till the White Paper of 1939; that even then undermined and sabotaged attempts for large scale rescue of Europe’s Jews to Israel. They vilified and sabotaged those who sought to throw out the British and open the shores to Jews; they undermined the liberation of all of Jerusalem in 1948; they sank the Altalena, its state-saving cargo of armaments and self-sacrificing crew of Jewish patriots; they failed to complete the military victories of 1967 and then failed to assert Jewish sovereignty throughout the Promised Land. They despised the desirable land and the Temple Mount. They refused to preempt the Yom Kippur war and then led the nation toward grief and melancholy rather than toward redemption and renewed spirit. Always their main fight was to retain their death grip on the state. Their notorious internecine treacheries, their financial, military, judicial and political scandals all are legion; their affiliations with various global NGO’s and foreign diplomats are chilling. They undermined Begin at Camp David; in May 1981 they leaked and almost destroyed the bombing of Osirak and the 1982 invasion of Lebanon; they saved the PLO for Oslo which fractured Israel into terrorist enclaves now metastasizing into the Road Map and a NATO-protected Islamic state in Judea and Samaria that already promises to shower the coastal plain with rockets.

Labor Zionism is destroying the Jewish people by destroying the State of Israel. Jews all over the world will feel our few decades of pride and relative security melt back into the fear and low profile that had characterized the exile for millennia. Attacks like those in Seattle, and outbursts like that of Mel Gibson, already echoed in Islamic State media from Egypt to Pakistan will increase. Few Jews, perhaps not even those who have turned coat will be truly safe.

A useful measure of the damage done to Israel by its failure to fight and win this war may be understood from the comments in Egypt’s main, government-sponsored daily paper, Al-Ahram. Egyptian Mufti Sheikh Dr. Ali Gum’a expressed support for Hezbollah and fingered Israel as “the Hebrew entity that is the true and hideous face of the blood-suckers… who prepare [Passover] matzos from human blood“(August 07, memri.org). This is the respect and peace that Israel bought by surrendering the Sinai peninsula and all the other unilateral surrenders from Area A, to southern Lebanon, to Gush Katif, to the most recent obeisance to the “International Community”: they have inflamed the blood libel. They have returned Jews to the status of dhimmis, cringing and defenseless, begging genocidal enemies for peace instead of fighting till victory…

Secularists-materialists treasure their own political power over everything. Such people never own their mistakes; repentance is what they do to those who expose their lies. Thus Labor Zionism excels at blaming others for the failures that inevitably result from their spurning of their heritage. The settlers, the truest Jews there are have been vilified for problems caused by Labor’s havlaga, multi-cultural Arabism, and sinat hinam. And now the finger-pointing and scape-goating of middle echelon military and civil officials begins in response to the Olmert-Peres disaster, the limp and purposely bungled response to Iran’s attack on Israel via Hezbollah. The politically neutered IDF was further hamstrung and the resulting chaotic response to Hezbollah has been noted and already is being commented on by Islamic states and their paramilitary groups. The Chief of Staff gained his position by commanding the expulsion of Jews from Gush Katif and thus facilitating and abetting the Hamas war on south Israel and smuggling of rockets to Judea and Samaria, the penultimate death-note of Israel. He certainly will not help ameliorate this chronic and, if not excised, fatal dynamic. Even now he is concerned with protecting his status and blaming others.

As we have noted before, nothing constructive or life-affirming for Jews will arise from the regime of Cossacks that carried out the pogrom at Amona. For decades the malignant Mr. Peres has been working the international connections committed to aborting a Jewish state and burying Judaism and its holy sites beneath a New World Order. Jews will continue to supply cannon-fodder and technological prowess for a global security state committed to erasing their identity and soul-saving way of life. Any one in the Knesset not vigorously demanding the resignation of this government of national defeat and disaster has revealed themselves to be part of the existential wound that must be cauterized this month if Israel is to survive. 

Some Jews, especially well-connected ones may think that serving the Global Security State will assure their safety. They would do well to clear the arrogance and self-centeredness from their expectations: all Jews are disposable to this New Secular Order. Hellenist Jews may pride themselves on eating shrimp but even the top few quislings are not essential, not even now: certainly not next year. A master will always find new tools to serve his turn. What is necessary is that they remain tools, — slaves.

As a great teacher wrote, “God will win the war because of the simple people… and not the sophisticated.” When the storm comes, and indeed it is raging, “the ministers will scatter in all directions, leaving the king in great danger.” But the simple settlers will take the King in, blessing him with “the sweetest and most pleasurable experience.” The settler, who is the Moshe of our generation, “will take the king home in his wagon and he will set Him on his throne.”

This is the only way Redemption will come, sooner or later. The simple people, the high holy ones, the Kedoshim will reestablish the throne of the King and His human king in Jerusalem and the entire Land will be settled, inhabited.

The people must go out into the street in great numbers, greater than the August 2005 rallies for Gush Katif and demand strict justice and banishment for those who brought Hamas upon Israel, and gave pride and victory to the Hitler in Iran. An eminently winnable war was made a disgrace, a confession of ineptitude, and an invitation to more attacks which already are being demanded by the jihadists. They see and scent very clearly the servility of the morons, bunglers and quislings that have a chokehold on Israel.

There has never been peace in Lebanon. Since the end of the northern kingdom of ancient Israel it has been a place from which Jews are attacked: Fatah-land, Hamas-land, Hezbollah land. There will be no peace for Israel until southern Lebanon, the territories of Asher and Zebulon are settled and ruled and defended by Jews. The same is true of Gush Katif – Gerar. One does not need the Scriptures to demonstrate this. It has been shown before the eyes of everyone everyday since the Egyptian invasion of 1948…

The same approach applies to Judea and Samaria, the heartland of the Jewish people and their most ancient settlements. If they allow “faithless shepherds” to spurn their birthright the void will be filled by Hamas, foreign soldiers and alien gods. The banner of Israel must be raised in the face of the nations, as it is written.

In the era of terror, the time of the ‘War on Terror’ and the global security state we return to ancient days: “the earth has become corrupt before God, v’atimalei ha’aretz Hamas, and the earth teems with violence.” The flood of Hamas surges over the earth, mal’ah ha’aretz Hamas (Genesis 6:11-13). Again violence is a tool of “the sons of the powers” and the children of Israel are caught between the world’s two dominant forms of lust and violence.

Rabbi Nachman writes that “before the Messiah comes, there will be flood, a flood of immorality and atheism. It will cover all the high mountains even in the Holy Land… it will affect even virtuous hearts.

“There will be no way to combat this with sophistication. All the royal ministers will be scattered, and the entire kingdom will not be firm on its foundation. The only ones who will uphold it will be the simple Jews who recite psalms with sincerity” and who act to see that the betrayers and collaborators of Hamas be swept out of the land they sought to drown in their perfidy and whirlpools of lies.

And then the simple Jews will place the crown on the deliverer’s head. Israel will settle in its place, the Temple will be built, and the nations will know that there is a God in Israel. The Jewish people must begin this work; it is almost too late to stem the flood.

We often are preoccupied with the challenging stresses of geopolitics and conflicts and forget to examine the historical and material records that can direct us toward lasting peace. When one considers both Torah and topography (let’s reserve archaeology for another essay), we may see how to resolve current conflicts in ways that will last.

Israel has been suffering assaults from Elam-Persia, now called “Iran” (“Aryan” in Farsi). These attacks have been brought through elite elements of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Hezbollah (“party” or “army of Allah”) that has de facto rule of Lebanon, and artificial state named after an ancient mountain range, “the Lebanon” which is the Hebrew word for “moon.”

In previous essays we presented evidence detailing that Iran, with its ally-client, Syria, has occupied and ruled the Lebanon since Israel was pressured by America to leave the area by 1983. So now, “Lebanon is in the hands of Hezbollah. The security of Lebanon, the border and the sea are in the hands of Hezbollah” (Memri #1215).

Speaking “about the appointed time…of the End,” the prophet Habakkuk states “Hamas will inundate, Hamas-land will destroy” because you, Babylon, “pillaged the city,” that is, Jerusalem (2:3-8). Hamas means “violence” or violent plunder, “pillage” and we have discussed how Iran coordinates the violence of Hamas and Hezbollah via Damascus (Memri # 1228). When Babylon thus afflicted Judah and the Jewish people with Hamas its empire was based in Mesopotamia and included ancient Aram (similar to today’s Syria), and the Lebanon. Today again, via the Shiites and Jihadists like Muktada al Sadr, Elam-Persia and Babylon again are linked as a site of violence and source of imperialist aggression and pillage.

And their violence inundates the “Kiryah,” the nickname for the HQ of the Israeli General Staff near Tel Aviv and the word Habakkuk uses for “city” in his prophecy. Thus “the Carmel, the Bashan, and the flower of the Lebanon is devastated” (Nahum 1:4).

This context helps us to clarify a point critical to genuine peace in the region: the Lebanon is part of the Promised Land and inheritance of the nation of Israel, by etymology, by Scriptures, and, for those who prefer an empirical – ecological framework, by topography.

Many verses in Deuteronomy, the last of the five books of Moses denotes that “the Lebanon” mountain ranges and surrounding land are part of the Land promised to the Jewish people for an eternal settlement. “Hashem spoke to us saying, ‘turn and come to the Amorite mountain and all its neighbors, in the Arabah, on the mountain, and in the lowland and in the south, and at the seacoast; the land of the Canaanite and the Lebanon until the great river, the Euphrates River. See, I have given the Land before you: come and possess the Land that Hashem swore to your forefathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give them and their children after them” (Deuteronomy 1:7-8).

After detailing the inheritance of two and a half of the tribes in the Gilead and Bashan, east and northeast of the Jordan, Moshe pleaded intensely with the Eternal One to be allowed to see this inheritance of the children of Israel, the people he had shepherded for forty years. “Let me now cross and see this good Land that is on the other side of the Jordan, this good mountain and the Lebanon” (3:24-5).

After teaching Israel its foundational prayer, “Hear O Israel, Hashem is One” and reiterating it (Deut. 6 and 11) Moshe reminds Israel that the commandments are for the Land and that its boundaries stretch “from the wilderness and the Lebanon, from the river, the Euphrates River, until the Western Sea” (11:24).

The region that now is “Hizbollah/Hamas-land” clearly is within the Promised Land. The topography of the Lebanon mountain ranges indicates that the word of G-d regarding the inheritance of Israel is reflected and grounded in the natural order and flow of the topography.

The Lebanon consists of parallel mountain ridges split by the long, north to south valley of the Litani River that drains them and turns due west to flow into the Mediterranean north of Tyre. This valley is a northern extension of the Jordan valley whose lowest point is filled by the Salt (“Dead”) Sea and that continues south into central Africa. The western ridge of the Lebanon range is an extension of the mountains that hug the western edge of the Hula valley and the Kinneret (the “Sea of Galilee”) and then split, one line curling west into the northern line of the Carmel range and the other swirling in a bend and then south into  the eastern edge of the many-folded mountains of the Shomron and Judea.

Feeding the Litani-Jordan valley from its orient slopes, the eastern range of the Lebanon, heading south, splits to form the mountains surrounding the high plateau of the Golan Heights (in the midst of which is located ancient Israel’s northeastern “city of refuge,” Golan (Deuteronomy 4:42-4) and then joins to continue south in the rugged folds of the mountains of Moab through the territories of Menashe, Gad and Reuben. This range of mountains parallels the Jordan rift valley to its east and curls into numerous lines running east rich in the history of ancient Israel. Split by several narrow valleys, principally the Yarmuk, Jabbok, and Arnon, this eastern edge of the mountains of the Promised Land hugs the Salt Sea’s east side and continues south to the Gulf of Eilat.

When one looks at a finely detailed topographical map of the Promised Land one sees the truth of the modern scientific dictum that energy behaves sometimes like a particle and sometimes like a wave; the mountainous, intricate and unique Land flows to reflect the powerful energies that formed and established its ecological and spiritual integrity. One sees the material logic and wisdom as well as the amplitude of the gift of Hashem G-d to His people: a land of modest size but infinite complexity and far more spacious, in its mountainous quality than any ‘flat’ map suggests.

Above all, for the purposes of this essay, which is dedicated to understanding and peace, it demonstrates how intrinsically “the Lebanon” is entwined in its essential forms with the more familiar, modern areas of Israel as well as those denoted in the Scriptures. For not only do the mountain ranges of Israel swell and extend down the east of the Jordan – Litani valley, but both of their main lines west of this valley extend south: one enters the Negev, breaks and then concludes at the Gulf of Eilat; the other curls southwest through the Sinai’s entire central and southern areas till the Gulf of Suez and the Reed (“Red”) Sea, where a smaller broken series of mountains rounds back east to Mt. Karkom in Israel’s Negev. The Sinai Peninsula, historically an unclaimed area never permanently inhabited is ecologically intrinsic to the mountains and southern deserts of the Promised Land and the long, north-south valley at its center…

Since the Jewish people’s unending return to their Land picked up irreversible force early in the eighteenth century, the Lebanon has continued, into our days, to be a site from which they are attacked and from which they are forcibly barred. This imperial and geo- political situation is anomalous from both the earthly and Scriptural – divine perspective. The earth itself bears witness, just as contemporary conflicts suggest that the days approach when “the Lebanon will be insufficient kindling” for the wrath of the aroused lion of Israel and all “the beasts” that infest it with Hamas “will be insufficient for elevation offerings” to the Holy One and Creator.

As geology and environmentalism suggest, only when we understand history and human productivity via the realities of our miraculously structured world will humans be able to recognize their rightful place in it and, as Scripture states, rule over it and tend it as the Jewish people were commanded to settle, tend and love all the land Promised to them, integral and one.

We are three and a half weeks into Iran’s war, via “Hizbollah-Lebanon, on Israel.”* Hassan Nasrallah is pleading with Islamic nations to press the UN and EU to declare, and then enforce, a cease fire. Led by its State Department, the American government will follow. When this happened in 1982, after Israel withdrew global jihad turned on Americans and then they withdrew. Syria and Iran-Hezbollah took the Lebanon.

This is what happens when Israel is barred from parts of its inheritance.

Now the cycle returns but the weapons and costs of jihad rise. If the enemy is not soon identified and destroyed, violence will spike. We are on the verge of losing what has been best in our civilization…

Jews have just observed the saddest day on the Jewish calendar, 9 Av on which date both Temples were destroyed and Europeans, rubbing it in, expelled Jews from England (1293), France (1306) and Spain (1492).
 
Now the Jewish calendar brings us to ”the seven weeks of consolation” with the prophetic readings of comfort as promised by G-d through Isaiah beginning with chapter 40 of his book and culminating on Rosh HaShana, festival of the creation of humankind. But this year, instead of joyous shofar blasts there may be a nightmare apocalypse. 
 
If the lessons of ancient and recent history and of contemporary events are not heeded with discernment and if redemptive action is not decisively and quickly taken, comfort will yield to anguish and dancing will be turned into ashes, literally.
 
For more than a decade, in newspaper columns, magazines, books, lectures and electronic forums I have described the Anglo-American diplomatic-economic elites taking down their own nations and, above all, Israel. The Anglo-American elites have done and are doing this in complementary jousting with the Russian imperial bloc as both stagger toward a world of perpetual attrition-war and terror, a multicultural world of official lies, imposed forgetting, effaced boundaries and rootless human resources. Since the 1950s the blocs have focused especially on the Middle East as the forum they best can milk for economic gain and influence, and more especially, for the world of endless crisis and crisis management that will reduce all peoples, ruled nominally by “the world community” to peonage.

Raging amid the ashes will be the pornographic cult of blood and murder, Islam, the tool of the grand-gamers, a tool that turns in their hand…

Of course they focus on the Middle East: Islam is an instant crisis and crisis-starter; the region is soaked with oil; and, above all, for the post-modern power project to achieve its global security state goals, Israel and the Jewish people must be buried. All facets of the great powers’ project are being pushed with increasing velocity. So much so that the players may be losing control of the game: the falcon cannot hear the falconer…
 
The destruction of the regime of Saddam Hussein could have been completed in 1991, had the rulers of America not blackmailed, sidelined and crippled Israel, not least by withholding from it the IFF codes essential for Air Force operations. What a revealing sign of the treachery of our elites: it was Israel that made Saddam’s take down possible by destroying the Franco-Italian nuclear reactor near Baghdad in 1981. The State Department and NSC, via its operative, armchair General Colin Powell preempted victory in 1991, giving a decade’s ‘grace period’ to global jihad. During this interim the American diplomatic, intelligence and media establishment covered up jihad’s various strikes in America while justifying them in Israel as part of a “peace process.” The Oslo – Road Map process, itself an extension of Camp David, leads to a decimated Israel that is a multi-cultural client state of the US, “defended” by NATO troops, an unsustainable scenario reflecting the suicide of the West.

Thus the Anglo-American bloc destroys its best and only ally, showing that its ultimate goal is consonant with the of the Russo-Chinese bloc. The State Department’s long term softness on Communism has reflected its desire for the essence of Bolshevik tyranny: dominance of the world by a bureaucratic state that owns all resources and controls  abject subjects unable or afraid to criticize.
 
We will not now explain the suicidal sources and nature of the Anglo-American project,  its implausibility and projected self-hatred, the malice in its power lust. What we must recognize is the degree to which American and Israeli soldiers have been and are bleeding for an improbable, indeed, insidiously deceitful imperial project that actually advances Russia’s imperial ambitions, the better to achieve the world security state in which terror is endemic and victory unknown.
 
“Iraq” is an artificial construct, like “Lebanon,” one of several states made-in-Whitehall (with some French ‘finish’) between the World Wars. Like all artificial nations it has been and is unstable and violent, always on the verge of disintegrating and governable only by imposed tyranny or empires. This has been the history of Mesopotamia since the Tower of Babel and subsequent first Babylonian Empire: fragmentation, endless conflict, and alternating expansionist empires.
 
Once it became clear that America would not fight with its only dependable ally, Israel; once it became clear that the “war on terror” would not be defined as a war on Jihad and “a war on terror-producing and supporting states” the failure of the American invasion of Iraq and a massive increase in jihad became inevitable. To defeat terror requires destroying the nexus of Islamic terror in the world, the artificial states of Iraq, Syria, and Saudi Arabia (created by the British in the 1920s and under Washington’s sway since WW II). To this short list add Iran whose pro-Western shah was blind-sided by France and the State Department in 1979. The result was the reign of the ayatollahs and their “army of allah,” Hezbollah, bequeathed Lebanon by the World Community.
 
So now we have Hassan Nasrallah, Commander of Hizbollah and Shiite Muktadr al-Sadr with his Mahdi army pushing Iran’s goals as summarized thus: “our slogan, which Imam Khomeini taught us, will remain lofty and strong; namely, “Death to America! Death to America!”

It is disturbing that America’s dominant powers do not do everything they can to help Israel disable this existential menace. Why do they let the drama take its course?
 
Once the shah went down, Iran promptly created Hezbollah and except when Israel went into “Lebanon” in 1982, the “army of allah” has grown. Now this extension of Iran has launched the initial invasion leading to the Shiite apocalypse that this year comes on August 21. On that day, the 12th or “hidden” Imam will shoot up like a demonic jack-in-the box as the “Mahdi” the true leader who will take the world to ruin from which only Shiites will emerge.

In the “Paradise of Flowers” graveyard in Teheran there is a Fountain of Blood that indicates the Shiite-Islamic approach to salvation.

President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes himself to be the 12th Imam. He has been threatening to exterminate Israel, Jews and America (“Islam will sit on the throne of world! America will be an Islamic nation”) for many months. This also is the refrain of his predecessor, the still influential Ali Khamenei who is credited with being the Supreme counselor of Hezbollah.
 
American troops have been dying in Mesopotamia for the impossible unity of “Iraq” (the word means “the edge” and never was a nation till the British put it together to anchor their dominance of the Middle East from Mosul to Aden and from Basra to Haifa). The artificial state now is exploding in a Shiite rebellion. “The Mahdi Army and Hezbollah are one” shouted Muktadr al Sadr in a mass Shiite demonstration in Baghdad on August 04. This explosion has been predicted often and by many. Holding “democratic” elections in a pseudo-state composed of many hostile ethnic, religious and language groups with very different histories and belief systems and whose dominant cultural strand is Islam invited disaster.  Now hundreds of thousands of Shiites are “exercising their democratic rights” by parading and burning effigies of Bush, Blair and Olmert, right on cue.

The preposterous Anglo-American attempt to pull Britain’s monster, “Iraq” into their Sunni dependencies is collapsing. Israelis are bleeding to buy it some time; then they will keep bleeding to keep the contraption going. It won’t last…
 
Because America’s leaders, like those in Israel, failed to define victory and the enemy honestly and accurately, the enemy is conquering with results that will dwarf any terror seen to date.
 
At this very late hour it is essential, if Israel and America are to survive that Iran and its client / provinces Syria and Lebanon be defined as enemies and that all their various armed forces be destroyed. If there is to be anything like peace, or even armed and sustainable truce Mesopotamia must be partitioned into its three main historical divisions, north, central and south and America take control, with Britain of the oil industry that Americans and British built from scratch. The inhabitants of Chaldea-Iraq in the center and the Shiites in the south will need to be suppressed or war will ensue.
 
Above all, if there is to be sustainable peace or truce, Americans must demand that their representatives genuinely empower and assist Israel in destroying the enemies within and around it, jihadist enemies that heretofore have been armed and enabled by Anglo-American as well as EU-Russian governments.

As to them we can say, “Amalek is the first among nations, but it too will be forever destroyed” (Numbers 24:20) by its suicidal hatred of Jews.
 
If America does not free itself from its status as client-colony to the treacherous elites in Britain, the UN, its assorted NGO’s and cults we will utterly lose the America the founders bequeathed. America will follow Israel, whose Scripture was the model for its polity, laws and ethics, whom its diplomatic and “intelligence” cadres have attacked and betrayed for decades, into ruins and we all will be living like the Jews in Nahariya or Sderot; we all will inherit the chronic apocalypse described by Orwell.
 
Destroy Iran – Hezbollah now; then dismantle the House of Saud; empower Israel and assist it to the regime change that will bring the victory for which its people yearn and often have voted. Help it settle in its historical place in the entire Promised Land. Do this or the pit closes around us before this terrible summer is past.
 
Americans, call your congressmen and Senators; Israelis, get rid of Olmert-Kadima or they will get rid of you… And there will be no comfort.

The diplomats of America, Britain and a few other nations tell us that we are five years into a “war on terror.” It’s an understatement they don’t want us to perceive. But what is “terror” anyway? Who is the enemy? Is this a war that includes the concept and goal of victory?

To answer the last questions first: no and no. The “war” is largely against the people of the states that proclaimed it but are not soberly waging it. How can they when they persistently refrain from answering the first two questions, what is terror and who is the enemy?

Want a scare? How do you suppose President Rodham-Clinton might define “terror” or her enemies?

Years ago President Bush made one speech identifying the enemy as “terrorists and the states that support them.” Except for one brief reiteration by new publicist Tony Snow, that valuable clarification has been buried. Thus, this writer again takes the challenge of identifying not only terror and terrorism but the “world’s largest terrorist group. Surely we should be at war with them, assuming those who lead and control our nations want the true war to be waged and won.

The Jewish people know that jihad has been ongoing for 1400 years but why ask them about terror? They just need to cease fire, shut up and acquiesce in carving another terror state from their central hills and valleys for this too is a major, or perhaps the major State Department policy of the past decade. So Jews shut up; but do hear Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the spiritual leader of Iran and the world’s Shiites who declared on July 31 that Iran and Hizbollah would lead Muslim nations in destroying the “Zionist wolves” as well as “the Great Satan,” America. The founder of Hizbollah, Subhi al-Tefeili has stated that its supreme leader, above Hassan Nasrallah is Ali Khamenei (memri July 24, 2006, #289), so he ought to know about the parties to the war.

In a similar vein, President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has become a challenging household name by promising almost everyday to “destroy the Zionist entity” (Israel) and extinguish it from the Middle East.

So let’s try to identify the world’s largest terrorist group. Those who already have answered “the U.S. State Department” go sit in the corner. We said the largest and will add most overtly violent, not the most sinister or hypocritical group. The truth busters at Foggy Bottom may not even be the wealthiest bunch of terrorists although they no doubt are allied with them, but leave that question for another time…

On July 12, the army of Allah (“Hizbollah”) attacked Israel, murdering six soldiers guarding the border and kidnapping two others. They followed this with barrages of rockets that have not ceased since. Does the army of Allah deserve the accolade of “the world’s largest terrorist group?” After all, three weeks later it still is attacking Israel with rockets and fending off IDF cross border raids whose ostensible purpose is to stop the barrages. Today about two hundred rockets hit Israel, some reaching Hadera, thirty miles north of Tel Aviv.

Adducing the above comment by Hezbollah’s founder, Mr. Khamenei, the Middle East Media Research Institute states that “Hizbollah is not an independent Lebanese organization; it is part and parcel of the Iranian State” (ibid) that, after all, created the “army.” Moreover, Mohsen Rezai, former head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and Secretary in its current cabinet publicly announces Hizbollah’s military policies and states that “Lebanon is in the hands of Hezbollah” (memri 7-27-06, #1215). Editors representing the top Iranian religious seminaries at Qom refer repeatedly to their “jihadist movement in Hizbollah-Lebanon” (Jomhouri-ye Eslami cited in memri #1216, 7-28-06). And they disparage “muftis of the court” (of Saud) and “the mufti of Al-Azhar” [University in Cairo]for criticizing their military unit, Hizbollah and its attack on Israel.

“Hizbollah is part of us…the Islamic Republic [Iran] is with it physically, militarily and financially” states Muktada al Sader head of the Iran-backed Shiite “mahdi army” that today led hundreds of thousands of Shiites through the streets of Baghdad screaming, “death to Israel” and “death to America… The Mahdi Army and Hezbollah are one” said al Sadr. Mr. Ahmadinejad considers himself the Mahdi, the twelfth or “hidden Imam” who  has emerged from a thousand-year nap to take the world into apocalyptic chaos…

So, we have established that Hizbollah is part of the Iranian armed forces, has the fervent backing of the highest powers in Iran’s government and affiliated Shiite courts within and outside of Iran, and that the artificial state of “Lebanon,” a Franco-British concoction with no national basis and more unstable even than “Iraq” is a de facto colony of Iran via Hizbollah which also dominates the government of Lebanon, “its borders, seacoast and security, even the streets and alleys of Beirut” asserts Rezai, and the fighting bears him out. ”Beirut is our [Hezbollah's] capital” says Nasrallah. Thus, the “Lebanese” army has been assisting Hezbollah’s war on Israel and is a party to the war. But the client government in Israel has the war aim of strengthening rather than destroying this army. No victory in sight there, unless it’s for terror…

Perhaps than we could award Iran – Lebanon the prize of being the world’s largest terrorist group, or even broaden it, as al Sadr’s words and deeds suggest to include all Shiite Muslims. But there’s a bit more evidence to consider before giving out the gold.

On July 28, 2006, the Iranian News agency, Fars reported on a meeting in Damascus between Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Ali Larijani and Hassan Nasrallah, head of Hezbollah (Memri #1228, 8-03-06). This underscores the identity of Iran with Hezbollah and adds the artificial, Franco-British state of Syria, whose capital is Damascus to the running for top terror-dog. So the group is not solely Shiite.

Iran and its State News Agency subsequently took a page from the Ministry of Truth in Orwell’s 1984 by trying to erase all official mentions of the visit (ibid). But the ugly truth was out. The news site Sharq (http://shaghonline.ir/news/archivevs) not only confirmed the connection in Damascus but added that there were two meetings: one between the Iranian delegation and Hamas chieftain Khaled Meshal and his Deputy, Abu Marzouq, and a second meeting between the Iranians and Islamic Jihad, including its Secretary General, Ramadan Abdallah Shalah. At these meetings, Iran’s Larijani also was said to have assured Palestinians (an artificial state and people in the making) that he “was certain of Hezbollah’s victory” against Israel (Memri op. cit.).

This assemblage indicates the multifaceted, heterodox shape of the world’s largest terror group. It includes the Iranian-led Shiite factions, most prominently Hezbollah that via Iran’s ally, Syria (Debkafile June 23 and Memri 7-13-06, #1204) and the “Mahdi army” in Mesopotamia are linked with the Sunni Muslim groups including Hamas and the Islamic brotherhood, both originally native to Egypt and now funded by the House of Saud and worldwide in membership.

The Anglo-American diplomats, in sending their soldiers to fight for “freedom and democracy in Iraq” have compounded the lies at the root of these problems. ”Iraq” is a fiction and so is the notion that it is amenable to democracy. The Anglo-American elites have hastened its disintegration into explicitly Jihadist components.

The enemy certainly seems to be coming into view, and yet those who lead what’s left of the west defiantly refuse to call things by their names, perhaps because living in glass houses they prefer not to throw stones…

Thus, although Israel is only fractionally mobilized it is battling elements of a vast global jihad in “Lebanon-Hizbollah” which is part of Iran’s armed forces and linked via Damascus with Hamas, Islamic Jihad and even the Bush administration’s major initiative, that agglomeration of lies, “democratic Iraq.” But there’s more, even without noting that Damascus is the main vector for the Vatican’s various Middle Eastern plans or Mel Gibson’s status as a true son of the Church…

Bear in mind that the European Union, Russia and most of the UN do not list Hezbollah as a terrorist organization although its youth groups dress in brown shirts, give the familiar Nazi salute and are pledged to the murder of Jews. The EU, Russia and the UN thus must be okay with the extermination of the Jews that Ahmadinejad promises. After all, there’s a photo of Kofi Anan shaking hands with Hezbollah’s chief Nasrallah and “thanking him for maintaining security in south Lebanon” (Beirut 2000). Could these European and other states be part of the world’s largest terror group?

Don’t ask any street corner brown-shirted thug: go to the top of one of the states most concerned with global jihad. Ask the Syrian Deputy Minister of Religious Endowment, Abad al-Sattar who states, “Jihad is now incumbent on every Muslim, Arab and Christian [sic, Christians can’t do jihad, but let him explain]. The time has come for the duty of jihad.”

What does this heterodox ecumenism entail? Here is the relevant religious text that al-Sattar cites: “The Koran depicts the people of Israel in a very sinister and dark way. Allah did not curse any other people… the only ones who were cursed are those murderous criminals [Jews]… The people who were given the Torah are likened to a donkey carrying books. They were also likened to apes and pigs. And they are, indeed, the descendants of apes and pigs as the Koran teaches us… This is a Koranic text. Islam is Islam and the Koran is the Koran. One cannot change even a single letter of it” (Memri 7-28-06, #1217, Syrian Television 7-21-06 & 11-08-05).

There it is: Islam is Islam. The Koran tells us that Jews are descended from apes and pigs, and Iran-Hezbollah-Hamas-Islamic Jihad agree with the Religious Minister in Damascus that the Jews must be exterminated, complete with Nazi uniforms and salutes.

It is not true that this is Neo-Nazism: these words show Islam to be the original Nazism, the original ideological project to exterminate the Jews. And Mel and his Church long have been in substantial de facto agreement with this goal and done their worst to provide examples and incitement.

The world’s largest terrorist group is Islam. Some say that Western leaders ignore it at their peril but this is inaccurate. It imperils their nations, yes, but the leaders of the west are mostly playing for the other team. This is why they dare not honestly define terror or the “war on terror.” After all, most of them do not think that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization; the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of France praise Iran and its great culture which explicitly involves exterminating Jews, a goal which France thus approves (as was evident in the major help it provided Saddam Hussein in building the nuclear reactor at Osirak and lying repeatedly about its capabilities).  And then there’s Foggy Bottom and its drive toward a “Palestinian” State led by Hamas and Fatah whose avowed purpose is…

Thus we arrive at an old story: “the nations take council together, saying, ‘come, let us cut them off from nationhood that Israel’s name not be remembered anymore… Edom and Ishmael strike a covenant…” (Pslam 83).

The world’s largest terrorist group is nearly as large as the world community. Yet, for its forthright, troops-on-the-ground presence, Islam takes the prize. The line about “apes and pigs” earns it the blue ribbon as the world’s most venerable form of terror, a war in which the victim has been clearly marked.
