HEBRON, THE FRAGRANCE OF EDEN, & HASHEM’S MERCY IN OUR POOR WORLD

The Israeli servants of the New World Secular Order are doing terrible damage not only to Jewish Hebron but to the entire world. Hebron’s place as the first settlement of the forefathers of the Jewish people is a well-documented fact that anchors history, memory and the possibility of the world’s people to find and be solaced by truth. As the settlement and resting place of myriads of very holy people going back 3730 years, Jewish Hebron is permeated by holiness that can bring blessings to the entire world. Lost as it is in aggression, treachery, vice and madness the world has never been more in need of these blessings. How terribly sad, but how inevitable that it is precisely at this time that the great powers lash their servants to blot out the Jews from Hebron yet again and thus threaten to interdict the blessings and mercy that the world so desperately needs…
Even as the path of redemption appears before us, evil puts forth all its powers to ruin the re-born nation.
It is written in the Zohar, that “when the world is in great distress,” so great that not even the most virtuous man can atone for it, Jews walking with Torah scrolls in procession bring down to Hebron a spirit of mercy for the sake of G-d’s word: “Three times a day” in such seasons, “a divine spirit enters the cave of Machpelah” where the patriarchs and matriarchs of Israel are interred, “and breathes on their graves, bringing them healing and strength.” Hebron - Kiryat Arba actualize this grace; they are the physical place through which this mercy enters the world. “That spirit distills dew from on high, from the head of the King [Hashem], of the supernal fathers, and when it reaches the place where the patriarchs sleep, body and soul they awake…” Heaven and earth are joined.
The Zohar, The Book of Splendor continues describing the dew of mercy drawn down by Jewish prayer to Hebron and the caves of the patriarchs: “that dew is impregnated with fragrance from the earthly garden of Eden” that Abraham entered through Hebron and still is accessible via Jewish prayer at the Machpelah caves. “Then the patriarchs awake, they and their spouses and supplicate on behalf of their descendants” whose mission it is also to supplicate on behalf of the entire human family. “Then the soul [nefesh] tells the spirit [ruach] and the spirit tells the immortal soul [neshama] and the higher soul relates to God” the troubles of His children.
“God then takes His seat on the throne of mercy and there issues from the Ancient Holy One a stream of dew of bedelium so that the fathers are blessed and God has mercy on the world…” As it states many times throughout Sciptures, Israel’s place and holy places in its Promised land are integral to the grace of creation. “God does not show mercy to the world till He has informed the patriarchs” who brought His honor, glory and deeds to mankind “and for their sakes the world is blessed.”
This is what is at stake for the world, this beauty and fragrance of grace and mercy in the presence of Jewish Hebron, the ancient Jewish capital and settlement vibrating with the redemptive resonance of Jewish prayer to the Master and Maker of the universe, to the Guarantor of human dignity.
And this holy place is closely allied to another, also imperiled today that is essential to Israel’s and the world’s peace. “Rachel achieves more than all of them, standing at the wayside” to pray and plead for the return and settlement of all her children, mother Rachel whose resting place adjoining Beit Lehem now is behind high concrete barriers because the suicidal world has again declared war on the Jews in their ancient homeland; the resting place of Rachel is the bond between Hebron and Jerusalem, a bond the world must never break.
“The Ark, and the mercy seat, and the Cherubim [in the Temple in Jerusalem, on the Temple Mount] were in the territory of Benjamin, “the son of [Jacob’s] right arm” who was born by the wayside and from whom issued the first king of Israel and Mordechai and Esther, the saviors of the Jewish people in the Persian Empire 2500 years ago… [Zohar, Bereishit 225a -225b; see also the Book of Esther].
Please, world, relax and see that the service of the Jewish people, in their holiest sites especially, in Hebron and the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, is to maintain their integrity as a holy nation that fulfills all God’s word to them so that they can radiate and display His grace and mercy to the entire world every day, climaxing at Sukkot.
Please understand world, and please readers share this with your friends so they will understand that the integrity of the land of Israel is bonded to the absolute integrity & Unity of G-d and to the Torah that, like Jacob, is only SHALEIM (”intact,” “complete,” “integrated”) in the land of Israel along the spine of holiness stretching from Be’ersheva to Hebron, Jerusalem, Beit El, Shechem and Tiberiah. The holiness will be occluded, and the divine spirit will not heal without the Jews in the land, the reason for their deliverance from Egypt as G-d repeatedly stated: “I took you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan, to be a G-d to you!â€?
Consider these words of the master Rav Shimeon from millennia ago:
“When I visit the companions in Babylon to discuss the ways of the Garden of the King they only mumble and keep them under padlock! And yet, I account this fear in them creditable because they are denied the air and the spirit of the Holy Land and inhale the air and the spirit of an alien region…” [ibid. 224b - 225a]. In an alien land, as psalm 137 sings, the grace of the Holy One cannot be released, not in the ways we so dearly need it.
Again it is made clear, as G-d Almighty made it clear by having the Promised Land become terrifyingly and utterly desolate, as He had foretold, during the centuries that His chosen people were exiled; when they were able to return in force, the blessings returned with them. And now the mad and proud powers, “the mountains” of the world want to rout them out! Should this happen, the world will spiral down into darkness.
The prophet Joel relates the word of Hashem regarding these things: while He will cleanse the world even for the three great sins of idolatry, murder and sexual immorality, yet “for the scattering of His people Israel and for dividing up their Land He will not cleanse….” (Joel 3-4).
Wake up world to the possibility and imminent approach of days of wonderful grace and true, not spin-doctored, peace. Peace, the presence not the expulsion of Jews from the land promised to them by God Almighty. Jewish Hebron, a flourishing Jewish Hebron, Jerusalem, and all Israel are the vehicle for the fragrance of divine mercy to enter and permeate this flawed world.
Stop the madness and know the joy of doing right: support the Jews to inhabit Hebron fully and make it bloom more and more, and in all Israel. “Then the world will yield its produce….”
